"I traveled to Chennai (Madras) India last year and ate the best Indian food of all time, mouthwatering, entirely scrumptious, addictive flavors that words cannot begin to describe. When I came home to the states I was left with a serious craving for those wonderfully complex and exotic flavors. But I was not to be satisfied that easily. I dined and lunched and brunched at as many Indian restaurants as I could find. All over Southern California I searched including all of those in Artesia and many in downtown L.A., and even in the warm welcoming homes of my dear Indian friends. Certainly the food was all good, but it was not quite the rich magical mix of flavors that I had known and loved. I never once came close to that ecstasy - that is until I ate at Shehnai in Anaheim Hills. At last I had found the fount of flavor I had searched and researched for so long! My tastebuds sang out in utter joy and I was immediately a loyal patron of Shehnai. To this day I travel over 40 miles one way just to refill my senses with the smell and taste of their Palak Paneer, Aloo Gobi, Garlic Naan, Cucumber Raita, Mint & Tamarind Chutney, Mango Lassi and so much more. Ahhhh! My mouth waters now just at the thought of experiencing it again! If you want to experience firsthand the finest cuisine of India, but don't have the time or the money to travel there to taste for yourself the wonders it holds, then go eat at Shehnai, it is as close as you can come to actually being there."

"OH MY GOD! I can't get over how good the food at Shehnai is. whether you're there for the buffet or the regular hours, you're going to get great service and great food. Some of the best indian food i have ever had. In fact, i'm on my way to Shehnai to pick up some food right now. YAYYY! can't wait to eat some of that fabulous Palak Paneer! YUM!!!"
